Interspersed between the prizes were speeches from student representative Celina Lu and teacher representative Ms. Pei.

Celina reflected, Adcote Suzhou has a strong academic atmosphere. All teachers devote themselves to teaching and tutoring and all students take learning seriously. The relationship between teachers and students is so harmonious. With their help, my interest in learning has been kindled and I spent more time in independent learning, which increased my ability and expanded my outlook on life greatly.

Ms. Pei concluded, looking back on the past semester, we have carried out a variety of innovative large-scale activities. all these activities, either for academic or entertainment purposes, enriched the experience of all the teachers and students in the school, and conveyed a positive and optimistic attitude. The construction of Adcote Suzhou’s wonderful campus life is the result of the joint efforts of every one of us.

穿插休学式当中的还有来自优秀学生代表陆思佳同学与教师代表裴倩琦老师的发言。

回望这丰富多彩的第一学期，陆思佳不由感叹，苏州阿德科特拥有非常浓厚的学术氛围，老师们一心教学育人，同学们对待学习的任务也无比认真。在大家的鼓励和帮助下，我的独立学习能力与兴趣都得到了飞跃般的提升。

裴老师也总结道，过去的几个月中，苏州阿德举行很多场创意无限的大型活动，不论是趣味学术还是风采展示，都传递出积极向上的学习生活态度。多彩校园生活的建设找不了我们当中的任何一个人。

The ceremony concluded with a surprise performance from Principal Kathleen Zhang singing ‘A Whole New World’, a very apt song with lyrics which encourages values and qualities that will carry with our students as they continue their Adcote journey and beyond.
